Private sector involvement:

As part of their corporate social responsibility agenda, corporationswill invest fund, technical support, material, co aching, and mentorship and apprenticeship possibilities as available. In return they will be active players in the strategic design; planning and results based management of the project. This will create buy-in and ownership of the process and results.

Government and citizen responsibility and accountability:

 The government will have a private sector partner to fund priorities identified in its NDP. It will provide access to exiting human resource, some funding, and a conducive policy environment where responsibility, accountability, results, and impact are measured and promoted.

Building local stakeholder capacity:

Sector specific technical assistance will be provided for strategic planning, results based project development. Technical support will come from the private sector, MBA’s, experienced individuals. A national youth corps will be developed as well as an apprenticeship and mentorship program.

Platform for innovation:

Nurturing and promoting innovative ideas as well as sharing promising results are important to this initiative. Stakeholders will be encouraged to introduce and test
innovations and promising ideas which will be will showcase nationally, regionally and globally.
Prizes for the best ideas will be awarded and support provided to scale up and share the ideas.
